The members of the Georgia Tech community believe the
fundamental objective of the Institute is to provide students
with a high quality education while also fostering in
them a compass of ethical behavior and social responsibility.
By choosing to join our community, you are expected to
live by a Code
of Conduct and encouraged when faced with choices
to always take the ethical path. Students of Georgia Tech
are considered adults accountable for their actions. No
one can control your behavior but you, and rules alone
cannot mold your actions in a particular way. Within your
responsibilities lie the choices you make each day. The
right choices can lead to success in all of your endeavors.
It is our belief that Tech students can decide what is
important to them, and set goals to live ethically within
and without of the classroom. The Office of Student Integrity
strives to provide students with resources
and support
to make informed, ethical choices to meet the expectation
of Georgia Tech and the community beyond.
