Helping Tech Get Smarter About Alcohol Abuse
Georgia Tech is taking action to prevent the occurrence of high-risk drinking and substance abuse among students, as well as minimize the harms associated with these behaviors. Many resources are available to parents and students in order to avoid and solve problems related to drinking and illicit substance use.

  • GT Counseling Center provides referrals, counseling services, and skill-building opportunities.

  • The Wellness Center provides personal consultations on drug and alcohol issues, individual and group education, and information resources to help students make decisions regarding alcohol and substance use and abuse

  • Student Health Center provides full-time students with free medical care.

  • The Office of Student Integrity works to maintain and enforce the conduct policies of Georgia Tech, including the Student Conduct Code and a variety of alcohol and substance abuse related policies.

  • GT Police Department: Report campus crimes, accidents, and suspicious activity by calling (404)894-2500.

  • Alcoholics Anonymous meets Fridays at 12:15 in the counseling center; for other locations, call (404)525-3178
